LOCAL INSTRUCTIONAL THEORY: Fractional Number Material Using The Tourism Context

This book teaches the importance of learning fraction material using the PMRI approach in the context of tourism by paying attention to numeracy skills, computational skills and mathematical problem solving. Understanding the concept of fractions is very important in continuing mathematics learning and is the basis for learning higher-level mathematics concepts.

Teaching fraction material using the PMRI approach in the context of tourism improves fraction learning and minimizes weaknesses in understanding fraction material. Mistakes in understanding material objects and working with fractions are common. This happens because fraction learning is often associated with teaching methods that focus too much on procedures without understanding the concept.

The Indonesian Realistic Mathematics Education Model (PMRI) emphasizes the use of real-world contexts to better understand the concept of fractions. This approach makes it easier for fraction learners to understand the concept of fractions and apply it to various real-world situations. The real-world context in this book takes the tourist attractions of Taman Beregam, Watervang and Lake Gegas as the context for learning mathematics about multiplication and division of fractions.

In this context, this book aims to teach the use of Local Learning Theory in Number material using the context of Musi Rawas Tourism. This book provides examples of methods for applying the PMRI model with an emphasis on the use of real-world contexts that are specific to the context of tourism to better understand the concept of fractions.

In this book there are five stages of learning paths in understanding fractions through the context of tourism, namely; first, understanding problems in the context of tourism; second, creating mathematical models based on real-world contexts; third, solving problems using mathematical models based on real-world contexts; fourth, creating solutions to real-world fracture problems; fifth, and drawing mathematical conclusions.

Pada buku ini mengajarkan pentingnya pembelajaran materi pecahan dengan pendekatan PMRI konteks wisata yang berkaitan dengan Keterampilan berhitung, keterampilan mengoperasikan angka, dan pemecahan masalah matematika. Memahami konsep pecahan sangat penting dalam kelanjutan pembelajaran matematika, dan merupakan dasar untuk mempelajari konsep-konsep matematika tingkat tinggi.

Melalui pembelajaran materi pecahan dengan pendekatan PMRI konteks wisata pembelajaran pecahan menjadi lebih baik dan meminimalisir kelemahan dalam memahami materi tentang bilangan pecahan. Kesalahan dalam memahami objek materi dan mengoperasikan pecahan umum terjadi. Itu terjadi dikarenakan dalam pembelajaran pecahan seringkali terkait dengan metode pembelajaran yang terlalu berfokus pada prosedur tanpa memahami konsep.

Model Pendidikan Matematika Realistik Indonesia (PMRI) menekankan penggunaan konteks dunia nyata untuk membantu memahami konsep pecahan dengan lebih baik. Melalui pendekatan ini, belajar pecahan dapat lebih mudah memahami dan menerapkan konsep pecahan dalam berbagai situasi nyata. Konteks dunia nyata dalam buku ini mengambil objek wisata Taman Beregam, Watervang dan Danau Gegas sebagai konteks pembelajaran matematika tentang perkalian dan pembagian bilangan pecahan.

Berkaitan dengan hal tersebut, Buku ini bertujuan untuk mengajarkan pengunaan Local Instructional Theory materi Bilangan menggunakan konteks Wisata Musi Rawas. Buku ini memberikan contoh metode penerapan model PMRI menekankan penggunaan konteks dunia nyata spesifik konteks wisata untuk membantu memahami konsep pecahan dengan lebih baik.

Pada Buku ini terdapat lima tahapan lintasan belajar dalam memahami pecahan melalui konteks wisata yaitu; pertama memahami permasalahan dalam konteks wisata; kedua membuat model matematika berdasarkan konteks dunia nyata; ketiga, Penyelesaian masalah mengunakan model matematika berdasarkan konteks dunia nyata; keempat menciptakan solusi terhadap masalah pecahan konteks dunia nyata; kelima, dan pembuatan kesimpulan Matematis.
